TIP members are at the forefront of leveraging digital and smart solutions for innovative and sustainable mobility. Recognizing the potential for product innovation, they are actively engaged in the development of intelligent and connected (IC) tire products and services. IC tires are technologically advanced tires that gather data and transmit real-time information and predictive insights about their own condition or the surrounding environment to vehicle owners, fleet managers or tire manufacturers. These technologically advanced tires empower stakeholders with better information, enabling safer, more coordinated, and intelligent vehicle use.
Beyond product development, TIP members have a longstanding commitment to collaborating with vendors and users, fostering awareness and driving behavior change. This collaborative effort aims to advance safe mobility practices and reduce the life-cycle impacts of tires, showcasing TIP members’ dedication to transformative and sustainable solutions in the tire industry
